  1. Tv repair men didnt have these schematics back in the 80s and 90s yet they still managed to fix the tv / vcr without a schematic.
Heck even today we have repair men that dont use schematics to find a bad component.

  2. Thanks for the video but this is more of a "materials you need for board repair" than introduction to actual repairs.

  5. I’m one second into this video and I must stop to commend you on your absolutely gorgeous wall decorations. If I wasn’t in a wheelchair I would be replicating that fantastic room decor myself in my room.

  6. I do professional board repair everyday when it comes to soldering irons you don’t get more with more expensive ones. The important thing is to get a t12 cartridge style tip that has the heating element in the tip, not the old fashioned ceramic heating element that the tip sits around. There’s tons of knock offs that can be had for as little as 20-30 bones. I have a hakko but I almost never use it and use my knock off t12 i got for 25 dollars on amazon. Also for board repair 2 soldering irons is much more valuable than 1 valuable one. It makes removing smd components very easy like smd resistors and leds. A good iron stand that preferably has a spot for brass shavings and a sponge is also a good investment. I don’t use my hakko station much at all but I do use the stand.

  8. I’m only 5 minutes in, and wow! I can’t wait to check out more of your channel. And THANK YOU for truly starting with an introduction on budget equipment and scope of the video series… I’ve done very basic soldering and repairs for years, but always been more of a software guy, looking to learn more hardware repairs and understanding. Ok, onto the rest of the video!

  10. HELLO ADAMENT! Am an avid Subscriber, you are my first ‘Go to’ when diagnosing PC issues! I recently built a new Computer in my old Tower with an MSI Z390-A PRO Motherboard with an Intel Pentium Gold Processor G5400 CPU @ 3.7GHz! Next added 64.0 GB DDR4 3200 Ram! Also a ZOTAC GAMING GeForce GTX 1 Video Card! Recently upgraded all my HHD’s with an Intel 660p Series M.2 1 TB SSD Drive C and two WD I TB internal SSD’s! My Computer now boots up completely for a cold start in 30 seconds!!!! (Once in a while when I turn it on, it Boots into the Bios Screen)!!!(But when I wont to boot into Bios, no matter what key combination I press it wont go into Bios on Command)! Windows will not display on my Digital Monitor but I can see the Bios Screen on another HDMI Output to my 32 inch TV! Am running XMP Mode and Gaming Mode on the MSI along with allocating 3/4 of my Ram to Process my Adobe Premiere 2022! My Question is: How do I get the computer to Boot into Windows EVERY TIME? And secondly, How do I get my computer to boot into Bios on command?

  11. Every schematics link goes to some paid service. I understand that it’s cheap for people who do repairs for living but for someone like me who want to use it occasionally it seem like a waste. Is there even any source to get schematics and brd file free or cheaply.
