Love the security camera comparison but noticed Blink app is always up & running and hardly ever goes out. The Wyze and ReoLink horrible software. Many times, they need to be reset (with camera unreachable). Can you do a video on those?

So for s340 do you need to be connected to the same WiFi to monitor or watch live videos ? Or does the s340 just have yo be connected to a WiFi and it can be viewed from anywhere as long as you have an account connected to that camera ?

So with the Altas PT Ultra every 4 to 5 days you need to get your ladder and deal with the batteries! Fun!
I just ordered 4 of the Reolink Altra PT Ultra cameras, and within 24 hours, they all stopped working due to some sort of internal software issue that could not be fixed. None of the cameras could be reset to their factory default. This was after spending an entire day mounting the cameras high on my home along with solar panels. When I tried to reach tech support, no one was available to speak with me by phone, and I was left only with the option of emailing tech support. These are definitely going back. What a waste. I ordered them directly from Reolink so as to avoid any issues with Amazon (been there, done that…some manufacturers refuse to help you if an item was purchased through Amazon.)
I have a question I like the Rio link but I noticed everything runs on nvr I didn’t see anything poe cloudbased.

I originally purchased the Eufy doorbell S220 (both battery and wired versions) because of your videos. It sounded great at the time but it would miss motion even on the highest sensitivity. Packages would get delivered and not trigger any recording. So I ended up replacing with the Ring ecosystem. Ring would catch most if not all motion and packages. But now I do want a more better video but afraid of wasting money on Eufy again. I also have the EufyCam2 and that misses motion at times too. Those are in the garage.
Anybody knows if Eufy has gotten better with their detection?

I found your channel while searching for security cameras for mobile homes…..great reviews.
I have searched through your videos to see if you have one specifically aimed at security cameras suitable for RV’s and have not found one – not to say you haven’t done one as my searching may be bad. š
It would be great if you would consider doing a video with what you believe world be suited to RV external security primarily.
Features I would think that would be required are –
1. WiFi – no drilling of holes for cables to run (keeping in mind that an RV is a big metal box which is not friendly to WiFi)
2. low to no light for nighttime security – boondocking
3. easily removable from base for travelling or very low profile to prevent wind damage
4. built in alarms and even possibility of a panic button – sirens and lights are normally ample deterrent
Your experience would be much appreciated as all manufacturers will obviously sate that their products are the best.
